For beginners, the fear of poisoning from plants or fungi is common, but once you're trained, it's usually not a big deal. What worries me more are threats we can't control, like parasites and pathogens in nature. How can we prevent these dangers?

doesn't get talked about enough though but with parasites and pathogens, it's mostly about habits, being consistent with hygiene, treating water properly, cooking what needs to be cooked, and avoiding unnecessary contact with animal waste or stagnant water, nature is never 100% safe, but steady caution goes a long way.

I don't think you are going to have problems with pathogens and parasites that much. If anything, you just need to really be careful out there. BE CLEANER THAN WHEN YOU ARE JUST DOING A HIKE OR OUT AT THE BEACH. Hygiene is the key and proper sterilization of everything.

Good hygiene is number one, washing hands, cleaning gear, and avoiding contact with sick plants or animals. Wearing protective clothing and keeping your environment clean should help too. Staying informed about local risks and spotting early signs can make a big difference in managing those invisible dangers. Information plays a huge role here, you have to make sure you have the right resources and they have to be timely too

Yep, keeping things clean, being careful, and knowing what's up in your area can really help you nip problems in the bud
