It poured last night here in Oregon's Willamette Valley, but this morning's cleared up with some sunshine, awesomely perfect for apple picking. Got the van loaded and ready to head out with new trugs and ladders to an old orchard nearby. The trees have a mix of eating and cooking apples, some great red ones for juice. We use red trugs for cider apples and blue for juice, keeping the good ones separate from the bruised or fallen ones that go to cider. Hoping to snap some photos today, loving this job more than ever! Whats everyone else up to?
