Yeah, I've been into natives for a while now. Nothing too wild, mostly stuff like milkweed, echinacea, and goldenrod. They just kind of do their thing without needing much, which I like. Always up for sharing tips or swapping ideas.

I really love bee balm and wild bergamot. Super nice to have. What are yours?

Well I for one consider myself that, lol. I enjoy growing species like coneflowers which attract pollinators and are great for the local ecosystem. For foraging, I like wild berries and edible greens native to the area.

Absolutely! I really appreciate native plants because they require so little upkeep and provide great support for local wildlife. Right now, I'm growing California poppies, ceanothus, and manzanita. When it comes to foraging, I'm into elderberries, acorns, and wild mint

Im pretty hooked. Learning alot. The newest fun knowledge ive been getting into is harvesting the inner wild cherry bark for a natural cough medicine and I also was able to harvest a bunch of paper birch bark after the last wind storm and did a dry distillation to get bir ch oil. I used it to finish this hatchet handle I carved and re water proofed my leather boots with it.
